During a school trip in the last early April I overnighted in Cinquale, a lovely town on the Tirrenic costline of Italy. I went to the beach just in time to take some photos of this wonderful sunset.

I had hit an inspirational low this weekend. I had all these plans of going places to take photos, but no matter what I did or where I went, nothing really caught my fancy or looked too exciting to me.
So I was driving around at ENP, stopping here and there, but getting more and more irritated by the lack of inspiration so that I decided to just call it a day and drive home.... I hadn't taken a single shot.
And just when I made up my mind to drive home the sun broke through the clouds. This shot really doesn't do it justice as I was a bit to slow... but I had to pull off to the side, get the camera out of the bag, snatch up the tripod and then make a dash through the saw grass to get a somewhat unobstructed view, which then resulted in a rather boring foreground. But there really was no time to go searching for a nice foreground subject AKA tree.

The sunsets were pretty much a bust each day that I was at Universal Studios in Orlando but this one did create an interesting spot of color and drama right above the Jurassic Park building. It just seemed like something big was brewing in that area.

Driving home Irvine recently, we were treated to a stunning sunset.
This shot was taken with my phone, through the window of the car, on the move. So, it’s not perfect, but… I love it.
