Our new friends Emily, Patti, and Liz overlooking Acapulco Bay during our winter vacation in March 2023. We enjoyed a week of perfect sunny weather at the Vidanta on Playa Diamante just south of the main bay. We stayed at this same location last year and made several new friends who we connected with again this year. On this evening the full group of 10 of us enjoyed a night out in Acapulco, here at the Sunset Bar at Las Brisas, to enjoy a cocktail and watch yet another gorgeous Acapulco sunset. It was a fun evening with delightful company, and a great vacation overall.

The thing to do in Vientiane is head down to one of the river front watering holes, grab a cold Beer Lao and watch the sunset. Better hurry, though. The Lao government is in the process of closing all these places down. They've already started tearing up the banks for a new system of levees to control flooding.

I think the designers of the ship did a nice job overall. The rear of the ship, I thought, was particularly elegant, although more public space in the aft of the ship would have been nice.
There is no wraparound promenade deck, although I don't think passengers really notice the absence of that more traditional ship feature.
