Its hard not to find a perfect view during a Puget Sound evening.
From my perspective, that far off ship could be sailing through heaven. Photography is a powerful tool to show the world your view.
But as the autumn comes to a close and winter sets in, I know that I will be taking longer then desired breaks from the views I love.
Taken from Samish Overlook, out over the San Juan Islands.
Taken around False Creek just before sunset during a photo walk around Vancouver, BC. It made for some fantastic light reflections on the city skyline. Kept pulling my camera back out of my backpack.
The Illuminated Water Tower
As the sun goes down and the lights of the high rise buildings and bridges of Lower Manhattan light one by one, so does the Tom Fruin Water Tower. Overlooking New York City from Brooklyn, this is not your average water tower. Constructed from salvaged plexiglass and steel by Brooklyn artist Tom Fruin, the water tower is a work of art. It was a beautiful sight to see the sun set on the city as the sunrays illuminated the glass of the water tower. When blue hour had fell upon us, the tower lit itself in a night time light show that you will have to see for yourself to truly admire.
