Cape D'Aguilar Marina Reserve Good Bye Hong Kong

amazing sea of clouds as seen from madari peak this summer

I am sure in decades past before modern navigation systems, the razor cutting light from the North Head Lighthouse brought a sigh of relief to those approaching the coast in darkness, not able to fathom the cliffs and sand barriers hidden in the night.

Though the light was welcome, not all that sailed here and saw it, managed safe passage.

The waters of Cape Disappointment still claim victims with little warning.

Carding Mill Valley and the Long Mynd

Soft evening light spears down from above lighting up the crinkled mountains, quintessential outskirts of Hirehalli and the tiny looking Arsikere Yesvantapur DEMU, sprinting towards Hirehalli station for its scheduled halt.

The cliffs that take lives from the sea and the North Head Lighthouse that tries to save them on the long dark nights.

Due to the modern age, most lighthouses do not stand to watch the sea as they once did.

Now they stand to remind us of times past.
