A warm Easter Bank Holiday Monday led to a late evening mist forming in the valley below Hathersage as the sun was setting and some gorgeous light. On days like this its easy to see why Surprise View gets its name.

I found this in one of the many large boxes of mixed photographs. This picture could be taken in Canada or in Europe, I can not remember.
The older elders in the beautiful golden sunset fishing, I feel extra special, I stood a distance to appreciate this piece of beauty, and use a long lens to shoot down.

The beautiful coastline, strong ocean waves, deep blue water and its compact size offers many opportunities on this Island for seascape photography, so I planned to stay many days here. But because of missing the flight so there were only two days left for me on this island, I had not much chances for seascape here as I expected.
A quick sunset sky detour on the way from Richford to Rutland took me to Sand Bar State Park. We're looking towards NY state and i think Poke O' Moonshine Mountain towards the left.
