Throwback to this summer, when I biked around Friesland for a couple of days.
Just my bike, my camera and me... loved it.

Taken on the way back to Edinburgh after spending a super day in Aberdeen. Not sure which estuary this is, from the map I think its the Firth of Tay. The train ride is very scenic.... loved it. Alice was happy with what Aberdeen University has to offer and I'm pretty sure she will be working hard to make sure she gets the grades she will need.
So this may not be my last trip to Aberdeen!
Sunset view captured at Attenborough Nature Reserve between Beeston /Long Eaton near the Nottinghamshire/Derbyshire border.
Forgot my tripod and was using a post to set my camera on but had to shoot this image vertically, so did it handheld. This is the sunset without post processing except to straighten a bit. And yes, I did capture the boat that caused the beautiful ripples!
During a recent Eastern Sierra trip, I broke away from the Giants playoff game at the bar with my Dad in Mammoth. I had never explored the lakes up there, and with limited time I quickly found a comp that worked just as the sky started to explode. No doubt this spot would be better at sunrise. but the clouds were too good to pass up a quick shoot even if it meant missing a few innings;-) Hope you enjoy, let me know what you think!
This is a snap taken from the seafront to the west of Porthcawl in South Wales.
Porthcawl is the location where you see lots of enormous crashing waves as they roll in from the Atlantic and hit the sea defences.
The foreshaw is quite interesting in its own right with lots of rock pools and granite formations. I have only visited Porthcawl on a handful of occasions so was lucky to hit on this glorious sunset on the last visit.
