MAMA Z and I had an amazing time at MWR...we couldn't have asked for a more beautiful sunset as we watched and listened to an amazing Fly-In.
Second in my series of images made during a cruise of the eastern Caribbean on the cruise ship Oasis of the Seas. For more details, please see the description under my first image in this set (Click on Photo below).
This image was made by exposure blending a single raw image in LR & Photoshop, using a luminosity mask. The image shows some of the superstructure of the ship's solarium near the bow, with the sun setting on the port side.
Five minutes after sunset at the mouth of the Russian River, Jenner, California.
Thanks, as always, for your visit and all of your support. Have a great week ahead! We are up on the Sonoma Coast for a few days, will catch up and post as time permits.

A brilliant red and orange sunset this evening, just caught the last of it, no time to find a better spot unfortunately.

This was a little test of the 16-50 mm kit lens (a.k.a. Sony's worst lens ever) at the extreme wide and long ends. Pretty decent results for a humble lens of such poor reputation. The sunset wasn't bad, either - and as an added bonus we had the tallest mountain in the Aegean on the horizon (also a spiritual landmark for many).
