Yesterday morning I was up early and rewarded with a spectacular red sky at sunrise. A red sky indicates the presence of dry air.

As the Sun started to appear, the sky got a little blue and the clouds got a little more orange and red. The changes in the sky and the reflections were extraordinary and fluid from moment to moment, and then the sun rose and it was over... all to be repeated the next day. Nikon D300, 16-35mm lens at 27mm; f/22, ISO 100 for 4 seconds; Singh Ray vari ND filter; Nik Viveza on the mountain range. Lake McDonald near Apgar Village, Glacier National Park, MT

at Hayama (Japan)

For a brief moment, the sun broke through the trees illuminating all it touched, but then the clouds took over and I figured a spectacular sunset wasn't going to happen. As we enjoyed our campfire, the sky started to fill with color, so I grabbed my camera and walked down to the river's edge and fired away with different settings. After a little post tweaking with contrast and saturation, I'm happy with the result. I really appreciate the views, faves, and any feedback/critiques on my images!

Embracing the beauty of the morning between rain showers in the sleepy fishing village of Prachuap Khiri Khan, Thailand. This place is nice for an unwind and it is definitely off the beaten path.
