This one is a regular feature these days as a rule I have always found them shy so I took this before I moved closer.. Took it with the Fuji 3.5 mp pocket Camera :-)

So, hier mal die knapper geschnittene Version von diesem Bild: www.flickr.com/photos/snady_/4639592721/ - danke für den Tipp.

Art Deco House Baglan Port Talbot

The stylish pre-war 'Sunray' heating stove (above) made by Grangemouth Iron Co. Ltd. as shown in a 1936 catalogue from Brooks, Phillips & Co. Ltd. of Paddington Green, London. Below, for comparison, the dull and unlovely post-war version illustrated in B. Finch & Co. Ltd.'s Catalogue of Stoves and Ranges 1951.

Just another telecom tower under sunrays.

I went to Leatherhead in the hope of seeing all three workings on the 479. In the end, the 489's no-show meant I didn't. I got to Guildford in time to see the 1630 and 1730 departures, and should have seen the 1750 arrival.

Usually, the 1750 does turn up, as there's a handful of people on it, but unless it broke down, it didn't bother yesterday. Perhaps the dire weather had put passengers off.

I'm assuming it went home early.

Since the last time I saw the 479s, the Southern Transit deckers have gone back home (two survied the ordeal, two came off less well).

There's now more Volvo B10Ms on loan from Edward Thomas to cover the route. For some reason I can't fathom, Edward Thomas cover over the destination boxes on most of their vehicles. This is despite the fact they do operate quite a lot of publicly registered school routes, which should show full details.

Anyway - the end result is that the 479 is currently using 100% paper blinds, and normal manual blinds have been wiped from existence in Guildford.

Here we see R905 XFC standing in Commercial Road between trips. This is ex-Stagecoach Hants & Surrey, so it very familiar with Guildford. This would be well demonstrated with a photo of it in Guildford with Stagecoach - but it would seem I haven't uploaded any of the photos of that! I'll have to in due course!

Sunray Water Co. Adit

i was thinking about to crop the sky out of the picture, but i let it as it is, what do you think?

lens: Panasonic Leica DG Summilux 25mm F1.4 ASPH

Shot on EOS 5D Mark II + Helios-44M 58mm f2.0 (wide open at f2.0) 0 M42 mount

such a great sky and i've only my small cam with me

A very brief trip past the Sunray depot today, to see what was about.

From left to right, are:

*MPD DP35 (T337 TVM).

*Olympian B194 BLG, on loan from Southern Transit, which from its blinds, has evidently been used on the 518 at some point.

*Mercedes P174 NAK. Now, this was a surprise! I saw it operating the 516 way back in April 2011 when Sunray still ran the 516 and assumed it was only a temporary loan, but evidently not. It's still in EYMS livery here, and has 'Scarborough' blinds to match, so perhaps it's preserved?

*Meritrule Ltd t/a Oak Coaches coach, K780 BJW...

*...and an unidentified Plaxton coach, in cream (not white) Countryliner livery. Anyone have any ideas what it might be?...

*...both of which are obscured by Mercedes Sprinter BU04 UTP.

*The Marshall, DM43 (V361 DLH).

Also in there, but out of shot behind DP35, was DP42 (P307 HDP). I think that was everything.
