This sunray pleated skirt is satin like in the fabric that makes it up and is also a fabulous maxi skirt length :-)

It feels like it's been forever since I've created and I'm itching to get outside and shoot images. But alas, tomorrow I'm taking a week long journey to Indiana where it is faaaaar colder than good old DC. Maybe I'll take some photos though. Get some old friends to hang out in front of the lens. :]

A best flowering of this plant in long time, ...... maybe 20 years. The hybrid was registered in 1919, and is definitely a favourite in my collection. The plant is still not to it's full size but improved remarkably through the last year, growing some strong canes.

The centre of this lovely flower had so much detail, just had to show it in its full beauty.

Semi-Off the Grid builder in my area, interesting collection of buildings and the vehicles used during their construction. You may have seen him on the TV series "Building off the Grid".

This RV is electric and has a small diesel generator when needed.
