Auf dem Heimweg vom Alpstein sah ich dieses Bild - ein Moment sofort anzuhalten und noch einmal die Kamera raus zu holen....

On the way home I saw this sunrays - a moment to stop immediately to take this picture....

This sunset photo was taken just after the summer solstice. The peaks include Beinn Tulaichean (946m), Cruach Ardrain (1046m), Stob Binnein (1165m), Ben More (1174m) and Ben Ledi (879m).

Sunset Clouds

Saw this looking out the office at the end of the workday.

UPDATE: Fixed the color balance. This was shot through the office window, which seems to give everything a greenish tint.

A nearby bonfire was producing smoke which enhanced the light rays shining through the leaves. I really liked the ethereal, almost dreamlike effect.

beautiful insects...I used to be afraid of them as a child, sitting on the wharf at Lac Ouimet , north of Montreal. Now I can't believe that was true!!! I love them so much.
