It's my birthday today. After a disasterous sunrise shoot this morning (don't ask) I was determined to get at least one shot from the day, so after a lovely pub lunch with the family, I popped to the hills this afternoon for a touch of mist and some birthday sunbeams, which will just have to do :)
Sunrays light the horizon along Arkansas State Route 284 in the western suburbs of Ellis Chapel, AR. The pleasant weather after the storm only masked the numerous additional and yet to come tornado warnings. It was a day, night, and early morning after that never seemed to slow down.

Cables from a telephone pole (out of the frame to the left) and a plant pot on a brick pillar. The sun was positioned just where the cables came away from the pole.
