Philippines , sunset sunrays

Our daily view, in the foreground a cornfield and mountains in the background, gave us pleasure almost every day. The cornfield was already harvested when we came.

The sunrays at sunset time that you see here were visiting only two evenings during our holiday.

We have had a fine holiday , travels , and family meeting and we are looking forward towards the next visit the the Pilipinas and ofcourse to show the photographical results of this visit to this beautiful country.

napakabuti ng aming bakasyon, paglilibot at pagdalaw ng pamilya. kami ay umaasa sa susunod naming pagdalaw sa pilipinas at para maipakita and mga litratong kuha namin ng napakagandang bansang ito.

The time of the day made it difficult to shoot some good photos of this beautiful lake with most huge surrounding rocks already covered in the shadow. I decided to give it a try and to shoot full frontal.

Not had chance to get out with the camera recently so posted an image of the sunset at Langstone Harbour taken in September this year.

1/40th second exposure using a Lee 0.9 ND grad filter.

I decided to shoot sunset at the mountain top again. When the weather and light is right, the sun rays in an omnipresent redwood forest always present the most rewarding scenery viewed at this vantage point. As temperature cooled down, precipitated overwhelming moisture not only enriches the forest lifeblood but also, together with the sunset light, presents a sublime view that energizes a photographer like me to hike in the mountain in pursuing for such view. Nature's pulling and healing power is an amazing gift to our hustling and bustling life.

Taken with D810, f/9 1/10s ISO64, 100mm, Nikkor AFS 70-200mm f2.8E FL, and with NiSi reverse IR GND 3-stop.
