Spent a lovely afternoon at RSPB Lakenheath Fen, saw a surprising amount of Bittern activity with lots of booming and several birds on the wing, this splendid chap surprised me by taking off from the reedbed quite close by, I was photographing Hobbies so luckily most of the settings were OK, although I don't think I needed 1/3200. Shooting into the sun unfortunately, but you can't have everything.

Severe sunburn down one side of my face, always seem to get that at Lakenheath!

She burns like the sun

And I can't look away

And she'll burn our horizons make no mistake

My flapjack's with light showing through. Kinda cool!

This is an image I took as part of a series. I used off camera flash to freeze the motion of the water and the movement of the plant. It was raining but my camera held out! Side lighting helps illuminate the droplets and add contrast to the image. I hope you like them :')

Infamous yellow Carrera GT of the city. Took this 30 minutes before a HUGE storm cell hit the city. He was lucky that the storm didn't penetrate the downtown core or his uncovered interior would have been finished.
