Snails in the full sun. They spend all day there. Why would creatures that could easily dry up do that? There must be an evolutionary advantage.

This old guy must have been sunbathing on the deserted beach on the south side of the Dardanelles strait when he heard us approaching. Just in time to scrape some sand into position. Gave us quite a fright as we did not see him until almost on top of him. He seemed very amused by the encounter.

She'll be out there sunbathing naked in public, but still won't want you to take a tasteful photo. I like the colors anyway.
