Special moment !

I like to share this wonderful moment i had in the dunes.

Apparently he/she trusted me.

I hope that the Roe Deer see the difference of a camera, and a gun.

A couple of poses of the same female redstart. Wensleydale in the English Yorkshire Dales this Summer. You can't see properly, but it had an ant in its mouth and was smearing it over its feathers. De-mite anti-parasite process. I think I prefer the previous picture. The Orange is amazing. Got very excited because these were the only Redstarts we've seen this year.

Some people can't relax. This guy was listening to the news on a portable radio. Why ruin a perfect day by listening to that c**p?

A western fence lizard soaking up the sun 💛 there must have been dozens of these little guys along the trail, with each one claiming their own rock to sunbathe on. This one was particularly brave—it didn’t seem to mind the camera at all, even though I’m sure it wasn’t too thrilled about its paparazzi moment 😂

sunbathing on the patio - what could be nicer?

Turning its head, maybe to 'listen' to my camera? Marbled White in the evening sunshine, Benfleet Downs.

A colour version of the mono I posted earlier... Tulips in our garden yesterday.

Day 16 - An Empty Chair

The sun came out, briefly, but it was still too cold to sit outside.

Sunbathing in Marseille.

A sunny Sunday afternoon in Prairie Winds Park with Emilee, Mason, and Dean.

Emilee catching a few rays...

Is that really the sun I see in the sky? Better sunbathe before it disapears!

The birds have endured a cooler spring thus far and it's as if this Song Sparrow was taking advantage of the heat generated by the sun's rays.

Scientists recognize 24 subspecies of Song Sparrows and have described some 52 forms; they are one of the most regionally variable birds in North America. In general, coastal and northern birds are darker and streakier, with southern and desert birds wearing paler plumages.

A great day at BWC with Sue and Ade yesterday, in bright sunshine!..this is Ted, sunbathing and finding that all was rather tiring!.. not for us though, as we had one of our best days there

Some like it hot

So desperate are they to believe it's summer, they strip off at the first hint of sunshine.

That sea doesn't look too inviting, does it?

Good job I loaded the Bronica with Delta 3200

When the sun is out, the birds love to sunbath in our magnolia tree.

Clitheroe cat having a sunbathing session on the roof.

It was so HOT today, even the swallows are trying everything to cool off.

I hope the weather is better where you are.

Happy Weekend, Everyone!
