Another capture from Miner's Beach at Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. I like how the Autumn colors lit up with this break in the morning clouds. Enjoy the day everyone!
Although its widely known that sunflowers are following the sun, but this is true only during growth, sunflowers tilt during the day to face the sun, but stop once they begin blooming.

Nikon D7500, Celestron Nexstar 127 SLT w/ Solar Spectrum Filter on Skywatcher EQM-35 Pro. 2 stacked videos of 800 frames each (Arranged with Pipp, Stacked with AS!3). Final mosaic was postprocessed and combined in Photoshop.
The scan quality isn't great but hopefully i'll get a good scanner soon and re-scan these polaroids again.
This sun pillar this morning lasted for 15 minutes at least.
These are caused by the sunlight being reflected by ice crystals in the air. If you look closely at the bright area around the sun on this photo you will see that there was a very fine snow (Diamond Dust?) in the air at this time.
Street photography and shooting against the light (sun) is fun and produces great effects. Overexposure, deep shadows and strong contrasts. Take a look at my album backlight and enjoy. Greetings MarioM.
