The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck: A Counterintuitive Approach to Living a Good Life DESCRIPTION :

New York Times BestsellerIn this generation-defining self-help guide, a superstar blogger cuts through the crap to show us how to stop trying to be ""positive"" all the time so that we can truly become better, happier people. For decades, we?ve been told that positive thinking is the key to a happy, rich life. ""F**k positivity,"" Mark Manson says. ""Let?s be honest, shit is f**ked and we have to live with it."" In his wildly popular Internet blog, Manson doesn?t sugarcoat or equivocate. He tells it like it is?a dose of raw, refreshing, honest truth that is sorely lacking today. The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F**k is his antidote to the coddling, let?s-all-feel-good mindset that has infected?modern society and spoiled a generation, rewarding them with gold medals just for showing up.Manson makes the argument, backed both by academic research and well-timed poop jokes, that improving our lives hinges not on our ability to turn lemons into lemonade, but on learning to stomach lemons better.

Part of a severe weather system moving northeast out of North Central Kansas. These late afternoon Supercells developed under the perfect conditions. They were in photographic range just to the Southeast of Buffalo County. Sculptured cumulus thunderheads were way to good to pass up that afternoon.

Torrential heavy downpours, hail up to 1/2 dollar size and 3 confirmed tornadoes in Adams & Hall counties just to the east of Kearney Nebraska.

It helps when you get it out of its packing materials and get the 29" wheels on it, I'm sure.

The husband is most excited, as you might imagine.

I recently found all these old photos on my laptop from places that I used to live or spent lots of time in. It’s so strange. They were all really significant places and I can’t go back to any of them anymore. I found so many photos of these small details that don’t really identify the place but they were unique to each place. I have this collection of outwardly anonymous but privately individual moments and experiences and parts of my memory.

Beautiful federally-listed endangered Hawaiian species. This is the prostrate form from Ka Lae, Hawai'i Island.

This particular form of this variable species is my most favourite because of the subtle uniqueness of its leaf shape and the lovely yellow flowers which are normally red/orange.

this sign amuses me - i don't know why... it's at the end of my road around some electrics

I keep wanting to rotate/skew/crop this image differently. Or retake it from 23cm to the left. But I'm pretty sure it can't be totally "fixed," 'cause the station was built wrong.

Not all flowers are bright colours. Taken in Exbury gardens in the New forest.

Delicate Arch is an abandoned natural arch in Entrada sandstone.

Sunrise, Sunday at Carolina Beach/Fort Fisher. Not spectacular but still fun.

Each one just a little bit different, which I'm sure is why I still enjoy making these.

Overexposure doesn't really capture the beautiful hideous neon green that is the thread.

My Tweetie mockup for the selected tweet style. I prefer it subtle :)
