GT-R looking pretty classy in silver, can still tell it's an angry beast at heart though!

Gold accents makes this F430 much nicer than for example 'black on black' :)

A little Disney bokeh from Old Key West Resort. HBW!

"In photography there is a reality so subtle that it becomes more real than reality.”

(Alfred Stieglitz -American photographer, 1864-1946)

This picture was shot at Panchganga ghat in Varanasi (Benaras) which is believed to be the meeting point of five streams, the Ganga, the Yamuna, the Sarswati, the Kirana and the Dhutpapa.

There, some bamboo sticks are used to lift up baskets with candles in order to tell the spirits to welcome the people who recently departed from life.

Sometimes things are just subtle and yet "more real than reality"...

Weeds are the Ugly Betty's of the plant world. But even they deserve the spotlight once in a while.

ADL Enviro200 has had its signwriting changed to reflect recent and forthcoming service changes.

Routes 9 and 19b were revised from 24th July. Both routes now operate to and from Whitley via Earley Gate and are interworked, requiring two vehicles. 134 would appear now to be dedicated to these routes, and whilst it keeps its orange swoop its "nineteens" branding now appears in scarlet - the former route colour of route 9 - with the "nine" part of the name emphasised with bold lettering.

On Tuesday 29th August 134 was seen at Reading Station on route 19a. This route and its counterpart 19c will be replaced from Monday 4th September by new route 12; and from the same date the 19b will be renumbered 19.

A cool foggy morning by the river

This area just outside of Bolder is protected thank God! As I carefully stepped about a foot off the trail, into this grassland, I realized how vital and alive it was! Birds chirpped loudly, and grasshoopers flew along side me. Colorado is adored for the beauty of the Rockies and rightly so, but I also love the prairie and find its subtle beauty alluring. I appreciate the vastness especially being from the East where everything is very close together, but I worry about the Colorado prairie because it seems like developers have already gobbled up so much of it. Do they not realize how vitally important this ecosystem is to the earth?

Photography doesn't need to be all about saturated colours and contrast. What drew me to this composition was the haze in the air, even only a relatively short distance down the beach.

Like fine wine some women get better with age.

what do you think ?

A little less harsh than the treatment I normally give to male subjects. I like the effect, but I am not sure that she would.

Just playing around with colours!

the name of the filter applied in post. The weather - they said it was coming. This is the result of 24+ hours of rain and snow... the worst we've seen in almost 10 years here. Fortunately our project manager knew this property well and ensured the grading was done right. We also don't have a basement to worry about. Today they say the snow will end this morning then cloudy with 40 percent chance of flurries or more rain showers. This isn't going away today. I don't mind as I have a million things to do indoors - getting ready for another week on the road...

A long exposure i got in the centre of Burbage, i used quite a small aperture and a shutter time of 15 seconds for this shot.

From the recipe book "have your cake and vegan too" by Kris Holechek. This is baked in a shallow pan/dish and served warm. It was especially moist with an ample amount of "pudding" in the bottom of the pan. The one thing it lacked was the zesty orange flavor. We found it too subtle. Next time. A large orange, instead of medium. More zest just may do it!
