J'ai un peu "joué" avec Toshop et DXO mais la photo est assez peu retouchée dans son ensemble, surtout le bokeh.

I'm sorry I did not have time to publiciste quickly, but I respect the rules of each group for the entier publication.
Many photographers are often influenced by the work of others, and I am no exception. Many landscape photographers whom I have met like Art Wolfe, Bryan Peterson, George Lepp, and Freeman Patterson are among the list. But others like artists whom I would love to have met also affect my thought process. In this case Claude Monet. If you look at his work, such pieces as The House of Parliament, Reflections of Clouds, and Regattas at Argenteuil to name a few, include subtle reflections.
Perhaps you too are affected by others and their work. You may even have a similar thought process when you approach a subject. It was Monet's work that I was thinking about when I approached this opportunity. The subtle nuances of his work are amazing, and worth noting when allowing your minds eye to serve as a guide toward your final product. As is the case for many, I too am encouraged by the work of others and try to leave my own signature while building on their work.

Thanks to everyone that commented, faved and awarded this particular photo. It was taken on my balcony, here in Brisbane. This particular Bougainvillea has been in the same pot for over 30 years, so in that time we have become good friends. The leaves in the photo are post-pruning and they appear to be enjoying the Autumn weather. Have a great upcoming weekend.
Low afternoon sunshine, behind clouds, does not produce the brilliant golds that the reeds on Loch Cil Chriosd can show - but I still liked the light and gentle harmonies in this image, with mighty Bla Bheinn watching over it all.
I just love the color scheme and patterns in which the Say's Phoebe is adorned. They just get it right.
My traditional visit to Elizabeth Park brought beauty to the delight of my senses. The multitude of roses seduces visitors throughout the state of Connecticut. Even during the work week, the attraction factor brings interest in the early hours of the morning when most typically are still fast asleep.
My return came with the inclusion of a dear friend and dedicated macro photographer. We've developed a system where both of us assist to ensure studio quality imagery. The light was harsh even in the early morning but with the aid of diffusion and foam core we managed to capture the unprecedented loveliness.

Arrowhead Blue butterfly
These are normally found in mountainous regions of Southern California but I found this in the high desert.
I’m not a bold strong looking red rose or even a bright yellow like many where I came from. I’m just a quiet, soft easy going “Pink and Subtle” Pink Rose” I don’t demand or command your attention while touring the gardens. I’m the quiet type. Gratitude and kindness for all living things is a great way to begin or end your day.
