I'm very pleased with these stoneware cups.

Their shapes and glazes, exactly what I'd hoped when making. I thinly dip/brush on my glazes to achieve tonal color changes. Oxides on the clay body or on the glazed surface add more character to my glazes.

Of course, an opportunity couldn't pass without one of my beloved coats making an appearence

New OOAK handmade dress set for SD16 size bjds now at our Etsy store (name: AyuAna).

So here comes the second dress set, this time in a bit bigger size, sd SD16. Hanako with her face-up suited the best to modeling the pictures. We have been taking the whole photoshoot at the old attic. Even if there was a terribly high temperature, we think it was worthy ^^

The next round from current project built around this year's cherry blossom season. I've decided to tackle this project in a different way, With these images, I'll publish 3 different versions. The first will be a "stock" image that will be uncropped and will only have my basic RAW processing. The second will have my color edit - sometimes, the changes will be subtle, on others it might be a dramatic difference. The third iteration will show my B&W edit. I'm not going to share my (sometimes involved) workflow on these images - but all were shot with my Olympus OM-D e-M1.2 with the m.Zuiko 25mm f1.2 Pro lens (usually wide open, but not exclusively).

Still love the subtly aggressive looks of the R8, I even think the V8 manual is one of the most appealing variants.

A carefully considered construct, shot west facing in the pre-dawn light.

This was an accidental shot to be honest. I was testing my lens and shot this picture and when I uploaded it, low and behold, I had a winner. I had to do a little extra work in Photoshop because the right side of the flower was cropped a bit so I went in and added the petals. I also did a little color tweaking with my actions and then framed it. It's my favorite work so far. I hope you enjoy it as well!

"It is not so much for its beauty that the forest makes a claim upon men's hearts, as for that subtle something, that quality of air that emanation from old trees, that so wonderfully changes and renews a weary spirit."

Is that a plant that is drawn as a bindi? I guess so? Live and let live? So many questions cram my small brain looking at it now.

Yes, I know, another picture of my Eos Katina. She is just so photogenic I just can't help myself. I have one picture of her which I am saving for later. Well I hope you like it. :)

I actually drew something. Additionally, I submitted this today to the student show at the college, which is fitting considering I only used a 02 Micron as well as a ballpoint pen I stole from the college. It is done on an 8.5" x 11" piece of paper. Please lemme know whatcha think. Thanks!

Normally not a photo I would try to take being in a very dark spot under trees in the garden, but loved the way a ray of light touched this plant

Subtle colors and classic styling of the lounge seating is seen in the rear of dome-observation “Banff Park” at Jasper, Alberta, on July 13, 2013. These "Park" series observation cars (each named after a Canadian park) built by Budd for Canadian Pacific in 1954 were constructed with 3 double bedrooms, a drawing room, an under-dome cocktail bar and a lounge. What a way to watch the Canadian scenery go by. If you get tired of looking back, seeing where you’ve been, head up to the dome and get a 360° view!

I felt this attempt at a sunset on East River Mountain had more interest than my previous and thought I'd go ahead and post it at the risk of seeming repetitive.

Crepuscular rays (also known as Sun rays) in atmospheric optics, are rays of sunlight that appear to radiate from the point in the sky where the sun is located. These rays, which stream through gaps in clouds (particularly stratocumulus) or between other objects, are columns of sunlit air separated by darker cloud-shadowed regions. Despite seeming to converge at a point, the rays are in fact near-parallel shafts of sunlight, and their apparent convergence is a perspective effect.
