Taken off of Google Earth, this Brazilian city has an interesting skyline. I added the sunrise and reflections.

Setting sun, stars in the sky, and me and my magical camera.

Some trees just don't know it's winter.

This started out as a good photo of dark storm clouds. Somehow in digitally trying to make the scene better it turned into this image. I still like my original photo, but this is more interesting. And I normally pick a likely location to add pictures like this to a map, but I have no idea where this should go.

The people and background and everything was someplace else before I started. Who'd a thought this would be the result?

A detail from my older Flickr picture Sunset Sails.

Another example of my trying to make an uninteresting photo into a more interesting image. I don't take these seriously, but I do like being creative and playing around in Photoshop.

Rye New Hampshire is right by the ocean and its rocky coast is beautiful.

Actual picture, but stylized. Why? Because it looks better like this.

Actual picture of the sunset, but enhanced. We all see everything differently, and this is how I saw my picture even if didn't look as colorful when I photographed it. I'll blame it on my poor camera who doesn't deserve it.

Rework of a beautiful sunset picture I took a couple of years ago.

I am very old, and here is a picture I took in my youth.

Combination of an old picture of mine of a sunrise and a discarded statue. I photographed the statue head in San Francisco fifty years ago. It was discarded and on the ground and was probably thrown out. The sunrise was photographed 15 years ago with an old cheap camera. That picture is on Flickr, and the woman statue is in many pictures of mine.

Colorful nature scenes are there to be enjoyed if you use your imagination.

The barn door was red, and I stopped and took the picture. As usual, I enhanced the rest.

Found this in my picture files. An old picture I took about 10 years ago looking up at a lighthouse, the sun, and sky. I don't think I ever put this on Flickr, but don't know why? Here it is now.

Only the Queen can walk this staircase.

Lots of color, distortion, and a bird.

Following on from yesterdays post i had several pepole mention this crop ...and i am thinking it works really well i will post a link below so you can compare

This is what the mouth of the Merrimac River would look like if they built a lighthouse right there. Maybe this will inspire them to do so. In the meantime here is my vision of what it will look like.

The light was wonderful in the late afternoon. The original picture was really nice, but I like digital art. So I "improved" on nature...depending on your definition of "improved". I recently attended a presentation by a truly excellent nature photographer. He was so good his pictures didn't need help. But mine do. Nice pictures are a dime a dozen. With the digital improvements I'd like to think of mine being slightly more.

My first sunset shoot for a very long time .......taken along the N.Wales coast ....anyone local care to hazard a guess whereabouts ...??!!

The national seashore is a treasure on the outer cape. This dune was in Provincetown.

More or less based on a real photo of mine

I photographed another Cloud Monster about five years ago, but I like this one better. Real cloud with a little creative help from me. The world is full of things if you look up and use your imagination.

Good morning everyone, we just came out of St. Louis, MO and still heading east for New York. Hope everyone has a wonderful day! deb

Yes, I know the buildings are crooked but so is the arch - LOL!

The Gateway Arch, designed by architect Eero Saarinen, won the design competition in 1947. The stainless steel structure rises 630 feet high from a 60-foot foundation and spans 630 feet at ground level. It's classic weighted catenary curve sways 1/2" - 1" in 20 mph wind. Construction on the nation's tallest memorial began in 1961 with the "topping out" in 1965 and dedication in 1966.

I really liked this tree.... the cows were an extra.... Have a great week...deb

Miss Liberty's light is magical. It not only radiates pride and optimism, but also lights up the clouds.

Cropped version of an earlier picture of mine. But this one has a sailing ship sailing with the sails down. They knew how to do that in the olden days.

The river wasn't very wide on the NJ/Pennsylvania border, but the fishing must have been good.

The wedding was so expensive they saved some money staying at a cheap honeymoon hotel. They were in love and didn't care.
