A serious 'dump' of snow yesterday here in Snowdonia ......Hope the weather picks up for Easter !
Though i have to say the mountains do look fantastic and all the roads are clear so driving is no issue .......
A tighter crop of a shot i posted earlier this week ...really liked the way the central rocks have molded together over time

The picture I took was of cold trees on the marsh. It's actually a pretty good picture as is. But I go for visual impact, and this version has much more of that.
I had a really nice sunset picture that needed something more, So I transplanted this picture of an old run down building. I copied it long ago off of Google Earth in Siberia. I've searched many times since, and can not find this building anywhere on the internet. But it's probably there in "real life" in the sunset with all it's memories.
Deep in the Plum Island National Wildlife Refuge wilderness. These birds were all in a row following the leader. What was strange was the littlest was leading. Maybe that's why no one else has ever witnessed this scene. In a flash they were out of sight, but I got my picture as proof I didn't just dream it all up.
Beautiful sunset from Wellfleet harbor, but the exposure didn't match what I saw - or more accurately what I wanted to see. So this is the enhanced version which I think looks pretty good. I can't improve the sunset, but I can improve my picture of it.
Plum Island Wildlife Refuge marsh walk. I made 35 variations of this photo, and this is #34. I like this but am posting #35 too which is my personal favorite. What do you think?

Another Wellfleet picture based on a photo of mine. Slightly (or not so slightly) modified to make it look better. And it does look better.
After last weeks shoot following the Afon Lloer and decided to try my luck shooting this river which flows out of Llyn Cwmffynnon .The eastern ridge of Glyder Mawr still has the last patches of snow ......though surely not for much longer , a wonderful day here in Snowdonia ....Spring has arrived !!

Went up into the mountains today ....Ok when i sent off it WASN'T raining ....when i got to this usually small mountain stream the heavens opened and the wind really started ....This is in for the day i thought to myself as is seat in my waterproofs huddled beside that rock ...Time for a quick exit .....

Started as an actual sunset on the water, but it looks more interesting with much more color and the celebration thereof.
This small stone bridge crosses over the river Ogwen at the northern end of the Nant Ffrancon valley ........I was a lot closer to the bridge last time !!
