Fall 2017

University of Limoges

My friend, Freya, took this picture of me when we were traveling to Poitiers, France. It was my first trip traveling with my new friends and I just remember loving every second of it. It made me realize that I have done the impossible- traveling to France for four months. I encourage anyone who looks forward to opening new doors and finding new adventures. Traveling abroad is a good way to go.

Direct Enroll: Goethe Institut

Standing right inside the gates of Neuschwanstein Castle that was built in 1864 by King Ludwig II and which overlooks the Alps. One of the most beautiful pieces of scenery that I have ever had the pleasure of looking at. Really allows one to understand and appreciate the history of those who once inhabited the places where we stand today.

Fall 2017

ISA Barcelona, Spain: Spanish Language, Liberal Arts & Business - Semester/Academic Year

This is a ISA led trip to Morocco, we spent time in the desert and it was the most amazing experience. Getting to sit back and enjoy the sun and the simplicity of the desert caused me to really broaden my knowledge of true happiness. A happiness that doesn’t come from any item or any person. But the happiness that the silence and simplicity of the desert. Can bring to someone. This was a very defining moment in my trip! My dad is from Africa, and to say I got to visit my father’s country made me feel at home and getting to see a deeper side of myself.

UNC Charlotte Exchange: University of Sydney

This picture was taken on top of the Franz Josef Glacier in the South Island of New Zealand. This was my most memorable moment along a week long road trip with six friends that made in Sydney. It was a this very moment that I gained an appreciation for the amazing world live in and how important it is to protect these natural wonders. Raising the Axe to defining the moment that you can do anything you set you mind to.
