Doin' a little posing in the Louvre.
Edit: It's pretty cool that this made it into an article (wahoo!), but as none of the ladies are, in fact, me, in the interest of courtesy any comments in poor taste will be deleted.
waiting on the lawn of "the quadrangle" (that we referred to as "the quad" -- pretty sure the irish never called it this...) of NUI Galway with the study abroad group for orientation. one of the girls completely passed out - as it was still only a couple of days after we landed and we were all still wonky with the time change.
and we felt pretty legit hanging out there. :)

Students and faculty traveled to Ethiopia over spring break for a blend of cultural and academic experiences in the East African nation. There, they visited historic locations and met with high-level officials at the U.S. Embassy, the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa, Oxfam, and the African Union.
For the nine students who made the 21-day trip in January 2017, the scarcity and simplicity of life in Cuba – from the 1950s cars to the empty supermarket shelves to the limited Internet service - challenged every convention of their lives back home.
The study abroad trip combined two classes: Journeys through Latin America: Contemporary Cuba, taught by Murillo, and Health, Culture and Elder Care in Cuba, taught by Kirby Veevers, an adjunct professor of Health Professions who specializes in palliative care, aging and long-term care.

Pamukkale, Turkey
Taken by Sarah Jones
"I was traveling through eastern Turkey alone to visit my friend and his family in Seydişehir, and I decided to visit a site that is well known in Turkey for having these great hot springs and calcium deposit. This place is called Pamukkale. This elaborate calcium formation is the largest of its kind, spreading miles and miles. The pristine surroundings are not only emotionally but physically cathartic. The water is believed to be therapeutic, curing various maladies. I looked out over the spectacular view and at that moment a young man I didn’t know was taking in the view at the same time. I didn’t know how long he would be there so I snapped the picture. It was a perfect setting, warm water, a fantastic view and a sense of peace that you can’t find in any of the cities. It was my favorite moment. I asked the young man’s name and we became friends, and he showed me many other places in southwestern Turkey to visit. I’ll never forget him, or that moment of pure fascination and appreciation."

It was taken in Nepal when I went for a trek of Annapurna circuit. The local woman, at rural Manang district of Nepal in the photo, gave her real smiling face to my camera.
