smoke from rice fields on closing day

A field of stubble from the past harvest, held firm in winter’s icy grasp. I was attracted to the tufts of stubble picking up a warmish grow from the weak sunshine, thus highlighting them against the blue tinges of snow and ice. The “S” curve adds a pleasing compositional element to the image whilst the tilt + shift lens ensues that all the stubble remains in sharp focus.
