Our team participated in this year’s under the theme “ : ”. The conference brought together over 400 participants from 80 countries for three days at the UM6P - University Mohammed VI Polytechnic in hashtag#Rabat.
:
➡️ The need for stronger collaboration to tackle structural barriers, including fragile governance, inadequate infrastructure and fragmented security institutions.
➡️ The economic and political asymmetries that persist between the North and the South, despite calls for fostering innovation and youth involvement.
➡️ The necessity to shape a new South, embracing a solution-oriented approach and collaboration rooted in history.
Congratulations to the Policy Center for the New South for having organised an outstanding conference.

I was privileged to be allowed to crawl into the ruins of Spaca Moskalyk's basement in 2012 to record the failing foundation. It's not something I'd do again, but we kinda fell in love with the old girl and we were, in a way, saying goodbye as it had been optioned to burn her down.
Thankfully that never happened and in 2016 the church was moved to a new foundation.
