HIPPOCAMPE and HIPPOCAMPUS (Hippokampê and Hippokampos), the mythical sea-horse, which, according to the description of Pausanias (ii. 1), was a horse, but the part of its body down from the breast was that of a sea monster or fish.
Our objectives are to get in position that any salesman, interviewer, attorney, Executive and public speaker will use our kits on daily day based.
The body language kit is definitely a great addition to any workshops that covers non verbal communication, body language, public speaking, leadership and more. So, we don’t think that we have to take any position or agenda.
Research shows that in a week after the workshops, most of the participates don’t remember most of the material and the skills that they learned in the workshop. The body language cards will help them to refresh their memories. That the place that we want to be, that also the reason for the low cost of the product – we want to get to the mass market.
“I woke up with a dead arm. I guessed I had a trapped nerve but thought nothing more of it. I had visited my dad the day before and I was on my way home. After about 20 miles, I had to stop the car. I was losing control in my hand, and I realised that I had no memory. I tried to wave down someone, but there was no help. I couldn’t ring anyone as I couldn’t work my phone. So I drove to the next village, found a GP surgery and told them I thought I was having a stroke.
It came on without any triggers or reason. I’m in my 30’s. I led a healthy life; no heart problems, blood pressure, diabetes or cholesterol. I was a regular at the gym, I used to take part in park runs and triathlons, and I used to fell run. It was a huge part of my social life. Because there was no visible signs on my face, even the doctors didn’t think it was a stroke until the scan results came back. They put me in for a second scan just to make sure. The results showed that I’d had two strokes. I remember seeing the scar tissue and being quite frightened. It was depressing for the next day or so; the realisation that this thing was real. I had refused to believe it initially.
Not long after the stroke I started swimming and have since become a swim teacher. The stroke affected my leg and I had to have inserts. I did a triathlon afterwards and surprisingly got personal bests. My whole lifestyle has had to change, and it’s given me a different perspective on life. I’m a more relaxed version of myself, party because I have limited energy now. I try to take the whole thing as an opportunity which may sound odd, and others have criticised me for taking it as such. But it’s better than sitting around feeling sorry for myself.”
Senior stroke survivors need to take their prescribed medications and participate in a rehabilitation program recommended by their physicians. In addition to these interventions, diet may play an important healing role in the therapeutic treatment plan. Here are some of the best foods for senior stroke survivors to enhance healing and reduce certain risk factors for a future cerebral vascular accident.

On 27 April 2025, former American actress Cora Sue Collins (1927-2025) died in Beverly Hills of complications from a stroke. The chubby-cheeked, curly-haired child actress appeared as the young Christina in Queen Christina (1933) and appeared in 46 more films of the 1930s. She retired when she was 18. Collins was 98.
Cora Susan Collins was born in 1927 in Beckley, West Virginia. She later moved to Los Angeles, California, with her mother and older sister. Her ambitious mother nudged her little daughter into show business. Cora Sue appeared in her first film, The Strange Case of Clara Deane (Louis J. Gasnier, Max Marcin, 1932), starring Wynne Gibson at the age of five. Clark Gable's first wife, Josephine Dillon, was her voice coach. She then appeared in The Unexpected Father (Thornton Freeland, 1932) and the romantic drama Smilin' Through (Sidney Franklin, 1932) as Norma Shearer's character as a young girl. Smilin' Through was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Picture in 1932, but did not win. In 1933, Collins' career continued to consist mostly of playing either the leading lady's daughter or the leading lady herself in a flashback scene. For instance, in Torch Singer, she played Claudette Colbert's daughter Sally Trent, age five. She played the younger version of the lead role like Greta Garbo in Queen Christina (Rouben Mamoulian, 1933), Claudette Colbert in Torch Singer (Alexander Hall, George Somnes, 1933), and Sylvia Sidney in Jennie Gerhardt (Marion Gering, 1933). In 1934, Collins had a supporting role in the Horror film Black Moon (Roy William Neill, 1934), and she featured in Colleen Moore's last film, The Scarlet Letter (Robert G. Vignola, 1934) as Moore's illegitimate daughter. She was cast as William Powell and Myrna Loy's character's daughter Dorothy in Evelyn Prentice (William K. Howard, 1934). In The World Accuses (Charles Lamont, 1934), Collins had a rare billing on the movie poster. Produced by the small studio Chesterfield Pictures, the film also features fellow child actor Dickie Moore, whom she would appear with later that year in Little Men (Phil Rosen, 1934). In the 1980s, Moore interviewed her among many other child actors for his book 'Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star: But Don't Have Sex or Take the Car'. She was also seen as a harp-playing princess in Hollywood's first Technicolour scene, in the short The Spectacle Maker (John Farrow, 1934). Collins' reported salary in 1934 was $250 per week (circa $6000 in 2025).
Though she was heavily in demand during the 1930s, Cora never posed a serious threat as a rival to Shirley Temple. Much of her popularity stemmed from an uncanny histrionic talent in being able to cry on demand. Cora Sue Collins again appeared opposite Greta Garbo in Anna Karenina (Clarence Brown, 1935). Collins and Garbo remained in contact until Garbo's death in 1990. In 1935, she appeared in another classic, the melodrama Magnificent Obsession (John M. Stahl, 1935). Collins was initially cast as Becky Thatcher in The Adventures of Tom Sawyer (Norman Taurog, 1938), but her role was changed to Amy Lawrence because she was considered to be too tall for Tommy Kelly. Years later, she told that writer Harry Ruskin, 33 years her senior, tried to force her to have sex with him in exchange for a good role at age 15. She had previously regarded him as both friend and mentor, and refused. Collins told Louis B. Mayer about what had happened, but he was nonchalant and dismissive about it. A rare leading role for Collins was in the Columbia Pictures crime drama Youth on Trial (Budd Boetticher, 1945), in which she played the juvenile delinquent daughter of a court judge. Her last film appearance was a small supporting part in Week-End at the Waldorf (Robert Z. Leonard, 1945), starring Ginger Rogers, Lana Turner, Walter Pidgeon, and Van Johnson. After this film, she retired from show business at the age of 18. I.S. Mowis at IMDb: "Post-Hollywood, Cora studied architecture and then lived the life of a socialite in Mexico for some years, hosting lavish parties. She was married three times, respectively to Ivan Stauffer, wealthy owner of a ranch in Nevada, to James Morgan Cox and to a Phoenix theatre owner named Harry Nace." However, Wikipedia also mentions another husband, James McKay, with whom Collins had three children. Cora Sue Collins died in 2025, at her home in Beverly Hills, California, from complications of a stroke at the age of 98.

So, this should be the last iPhone pic for a while. Thankfully, I got a call from Apple and not only was my MBP ready to go, but they had spared my data and I’m right back to where I was, throwing caution to the wind with no back up plan. =P Maybe in the not so distant future I’ll get myself an external drive. In the meantime, I’m going to keep using the 2 free gigs of dropbox storage and only back up the essentials.
As far as the above image, WOW. What a great show. Not only did I finally get to see The Strokes, who btw, put on an AMAZING show, they also treated the very under appreciating younger fans to a surprise April Fool showing of Elvis Costello. He just came out, yelled “Happy April Fool”, sang Pump It Up and Peace Love and Understanding, thanked the crowd and ran off stage. It was amazing. He also showed up later in the show to help the Strokes with one of the songs off the new album and it was great. What a show. If these guys ever come back to NYC and play a small venue, I’m there.
