Every art begins with the first brush stroke! So did my journey in photography. I look back at the beginning and I realized that I've come a long way. I'll never be where I am now without the bestest group of people that I call Flickr friends. So, Thank you very much for everyone who's been and will continue to be there along the journey!

Painted Hills in Mitchell, Oregon are the crown jewels of this region with their spectacular colors and sublime patterns that seem to have been hand-painted by the master stroke of Mother Nature’s brush.
The red part of this fading tulip looks like water color brush strokes to me. . .or perhaps it looks a bit like a cany cane?

This is an adorable one-eyed cat at the stables, that I met the other day. I saw him while we were riding and then went back to give him a pat. He was so friendly and loving, a bit too friendly actually, he tried to climb up my leg at one point :)
tomorrow tis the fourth of july, my favorite holiday :) i hope the lighting is good enough when they start the fireworks so my camera will tolerate it!
and please do not look at my face. the power was out and it was like 110 degrees and i was sweating like crazy and trying to look pretty and take pictures and omg i can't handle extreme conditions
