I love black because it affirms, designs, and styles. A woman in a black dress is a pencil stroke. - Yves Saint Laurent

Everyone has a different stroke so a unique brush is needed.

I want to thank each and everyone of my kind flickr friends for all the love and prayers sent my way during this trying and difficult time. God has truly sent us alot of angels!

UPDATE: Many have asked how Kraig is doing...he's still critical...but stable. One day at a time. I wish that I had something wonderful to report...but at this time...we're just remaining hopeful...and so grateful for the progress he's made thus far. It's been a grueling week...and thank God for family and friends. You have all been perfect angels...sending prayers and wishes. Thank you..thank you...please continue to pray~ Sending much love. Will visit you all later. Hugs.

It was a lovely day so I went for a walk with my camera round my golf course.

this is a view looking back up the 2nd hole, which is rated the hardest on the course.

I was getting some really stange looks from fellow members who thought it was odd that I didn't have my clubs.

A truly magical evening at White Sands National Park in New Mexico. I made it out to a tall dune to watch the setting sun disappear over the mountain range in the distance. It was a pinch me moment. The landscape turned into a painting before my eyes.

Revelation 13:3 “And I saw one of his heads as though it had been smitten unto death; and his death-stroke was healed: and the whole earth wondered after the beast.”

Flowers for You

Spring Equinox brings a universal desire to post millions of pictures of flowers. This image is of the blooms in the meadows of Rainier, but they won’t emerge from the alpine snowfields until well into July and August. Broad strokes of lupine compete with scarlet paintbrush and heather, with chickweed and goats beard strewn like garland across the canvas of green. The clouds form out of nowhere, born of rising thermals and prevailing air streams, rushing between heaven and earth in a kaleidoscope of light. The display is tremendous. Meandering always higher, the trail begs to be abandoned towards tarns and hillocks that enhance the view in every direction, as if John Muir or maybe even God Himself had strolled these meadows, tossing seeds from a basket filled with pure inspiration. The realization of smallness is humbling, and in that lowering my emotion is volcanic. My moments of anger, of sadness, and disappointment are all like magma below the surface. It is easier to forgive than to forgive myself. And in my apologies, I got these flowers for you….

Kristine - The Deepest Blue

I was inspired by the Pantone's color of the year for 2020 (classic blue) but intentionally went down to find the deepest blue with contrast to complementary yellow. My beloved model and second beloved hairdryer helper arrange this composition as you can see in the making of...

Enjoy the colorful week! :)

The municipality of Sechelt is in those distant hills, and under the prominent looking clouds. It is found along the Sunshine Coast, up the highway from the Ferry found in Langdale. While the shot is taken from Roberts Creek, it looks nestled in the mountains beyond.

Much to my surprise, this exposure rendered streaks in the foreground waters. Somewhat akin to the brush strokes an artist might leave on a canvas. The whites, yellows, and browns complimented one and other, delivering a painterly feel.

Happy Sliders Sunday!

A newly hatched Green tutle takes its first strokes in the crystal clear waters around Lankayan Island, off the coast of Borneo. Perhaps it will be one of the lucky ones that makes it from a mere 5cm to a full 5 foot? Helped on its way due to the dedication of the volunteers running the turtle hatchery.

I find you hidden behind the tree

Your hair it blows, so wild and free

Your eyes they sparkle and they shine

When your gaze, does meet mine

I stroke your face with my fingers

Its softness on my skin, it lingers

Our lips they meet, our tongues entwine

On your beauty , i now dine

I can't resist, your clothes ripped open

My passion aroused, it is woken

We fall urgently down to the ground

Where amongst the flowers is found

Insatiable desire, unstoppable lust

As our cries grow louder with every thrust

Of my passion , sliding deep within

Your nails tear savagely at my skin

Our bodes are shared, under the skies

Love is reflected in your eyes

My teeth they bite your tender skin

As i explore, i swim within

Your hidden lake, where i sow

My seeds of desire, the sun does glow

Down on our nakedness, under the tree

Where we share love, for all to see
