Jill and I went to Wortley Hall summer fair today..

Lovely place, cool history and building. Great grounds too..

We saw the inside of the hall with various original fittings, windows and ornate ceilings. Then outside to look at the stalls etc, (coffee and cake!) and then had a look around the walled garden where I took the pictures of the flowers, bees and butterfly..

Plus the bit of bee stroking video too!

"Wortley Hall in the picturesque village of Wortley, stands in 26 acres of formal grounds and woodland surrounded by 242 hectares of park land. The hall was the formal home of the Wortley family for hundreds of years."
