My longarm free motion practice quilt...String quilt from 30s repro scraps (trying to make them go away!) from those blocks I posted months ago, based upon Ashley's tutorial ( www.filminthefridge.com/2009/04/27/a-string-quilt-block-t... ) although I quit using the paper after a few blocks and just used it as template to make sure everything was big enough before sewing strips on.

Red, Blue, Green, Yellow- these colorful threads are the ones to color the life of wearer and the weaver. Wearer color their life with the beauty of these threads bring out in the clothing. Weavers on the other hand color their life with the living they earn by selling these. These threads are their earning source and the elements
to show their creativity.
I need help finding Geppeto. Does anyone have his email? His cell phone number? If you know how to contact him, please let me know.
My sister inherited this wonderful Pinocchio wooden puppet. As a surprise, I would like to restring him or, if I cannot do it, have a doll hospital do it. The strings that go into his arms appear to be glued inside and I am uncertain how to do that.
Pinocchio is not wearing his big flat red wooden shoes in the photo. He wanted to take them off because the heat made his fee damp and he does want to rot. Ha-ha!
The really special feature about this guy is that he came with two noses…one long and one short. Unfortunately, my sister only has the short one.
