this time I actually use the antique modelscope optical device to view an architectural model, which is what it was made to do. there had been an adapter to attach the modelscope to a camera but alas it was missing. I had to hold the device to up my lens. it was an exercise in balance and staying still and not sending the model crashing to the ground. it was a lot of fun.

The holiday of Corpus Christi emptied the streets of this usually bustling street in Gdansk where Amber jewelry is sold. Gdansk is the capitol of Amber, one of the many reasons why it attracts crowds from Germany and Russia. Flattened in WWII and restored painstakingly to its pre-war beauty it is like stepping back in time to wander these streets.
