Young man was happy as he was clapping his hands as he went into Tacos Mexico, a low end taco & burrito chain in Los Angeles!
Inspired by the work of Le Fox Scribbles, watercolor artist. I found a sketched street scene, added collaged people, and tinted some areas. This was challenging and interesting. Thanks, Muffin!

A rather grainy scan I'm afraid but an interesting shot from a c1935 West Yorkshire Constabulary road safety booklet.
A rather fine close up of the old style pre-Worboys 'Halt at Major Road Ahead" road signs.
Interesting we have a parking lot replacing Grace Church, of course.

We think the street lighting columns in the upper right were made, possibly in Singapore as they used similar patterns, and they may have been made under licence from a UK manufacturer - the lanterns are most likely GEC. The scene shows a tarmacadamed road being constructed in Bandar.
