After a couple of days I felt better and ventured in the city: walking the streets.

A picture of the same street, some years later - and with left becoming right etc.

Downtown Neenah in the fall of 1989.

Rochdale's Shopping Mall (off pedestrianised Yorkshire St.) is getting old, but a recent evening trip showed it without the crowds milling around.

I still like the bronze sheep (on the pight) but they no longer stand out well.

(Someone once said to me, "Yes, but what can we exchange it for?"!)

RET tram on route 2 eastbound approaching Brielselaan tram stop. Route 2 is the only tram route not to pass Rotterdam Centraal.

Viewed from the Round Tower. The horizontal gantries transferred coal from the ships for the power station. Probably taken around 1965.

The "at seat" service in Gloucester is second to none !! In truth,I have no idea what is happening here - looks like a couple of Chicago gangsters from the 1920s having a chat.Taken during the Gloucester Retro Festival - 27.8.16.

As the sun goes down people like to unwind in any small patch of open land. In this case in the middle of the highway to discuss matters or to eat outside.

Notice also the green structure on the rooftop. This is deemed a luxury bedroom where you can sleep in the slightly cooler night time air in the hot summer months.

And along came a "proper" Birmingham bus! 1950's? Chartered to a wedding party and the bride was riding on the back platform. Perhaps she was collecting fares! Northfield Road.

Main Street, West Calder from west of Gloag Place, looking east. From a postcard by R. Wells Brown, the West Calder chemist.

Who doesn't like this: sitting on a terrace sipping on your fresh cup of coffee and watch the people passing by......

Guess it's an ultimate holidayfeeling.

Holidays are over, have a great weekend!

This wonderfully ornamental and grandiose building was built between 1875 and 1881 as the Berlin postal delivery office. The three domes were designed to complement the domes on the nearby New Synagogue.

A sunset streetscene in the neighborhood. Pedestrians make their way into the last rays from the market behind. Luxury sedans mix with the pedicabs and three-wheeled motortrike taxis. Class is nowhere more evident than on the streets.
