Along the path theres a lovely little fall of water through the rocks. Alas its completely obscured with trees so we had to venture in to get a better snap.

Long exposure of a stream along the Granduc Road near Hyder, AK. 46 second exposure with Lee Big Stopper blended with normal exposure.

We took a bus from Kwangju to Damyang, about a 30 minute ride. For 500 won extra, the bus driver agreed to drop us off right near the bamboo forest instead of at the bus terminal.

This is the beautiful stream that goes through town. In the distance, 3 nuns are crossing the bridge. The sides of the stream are lined with tall trees. I think it's much prettier than Seoul's Cheongye stream.

I believe this is my last snowy winter scene to post. It's similar to a previous post, with an Orton effect. This is a stream in Mill Creek Park, Ohio.

A local work crew (Donald, Tony and Melanie) walk stream systems surrounding their home community of Hydaburg.

The team take stream measurements and trap and study anadramous fish populations. By understanding where specific fish are living, stream reaches (or sections of streams) are categorized as 'anadramous' and added to a regional catalog. This categorization adds protection to stream systems and helps dictate the type of development that can happen in their vicinity (e.g. type of logging activity).

I have seen so many beautiful dragonflies since I began taking photographs just three years ago. It seems I find a new one every day that I look. This Stream Cruiser was a new find for me yesterday and I was able to find another one today. He flies high and fast but likes come down and perch in the morning sun. I have yet to see them around the pond but I believe I spotted one flying up and down the stream. From what I have read they tend to be most active from May-July?

This small bush river in the forest near Lake Hanlon on the West Coast of New Zealand's South Island does not appear to have a name, the maps are blank, but the Coast is full of many such rivers. They rise in the densely forested valleys and rush quickly down the steep mountainsides to the sea which, on the West Coast, is often only a short distance away.

After the unusual January thunderstorms, the stream in Seager Park in Naperville, Illinios is running again. Here, fallen limbs along with rocks create a bottleneck and force the water to flow quickly down to a lower portion of the stream.

A small stream, freshened by yesterday's rain. Near Town Farm Rd.
