Two of my father's older sisters spent the last few decades of their lives in a house adjacent to this stream, and it is a place dear in the memories of many of their nieces and nephews, including me. This view was taken from a bridge over the creek nearby, and the house itself is masked by new-growth forest at upper-right. Sadly, the house is now abandoned and being subsumed back into nature.

Oh! I admit I was not loving this DLG, but scalp switch has completely changed my opinion of her! For the better, that is.
