Another view of the Smoky Mountain stream in the National Park. Not much water now, but, I imagine it overflows after spring run off and rains

I'm on patrol more often with the elephant patrol units in the Seblat Conservation area. Stopping every afternoon to place camera traps then setting up camp always next to the cool Seblat waters.

Slowly rising from the depth of the frosty ice, there came a bluish glow telling me my time in the woods was limited today...

Okay I lost my notes or didn't write any down on these shots. I think it wasn't far down the road from Roaring Mountain. Anyways it's the prettiest area....the stream is covered in this lush green grass....very pretty.

Orton enhanced the light/shadow contrast. I love the way light streams into the photo, as if its source isn't dispersed but bound to the water.

This stream opened for fishing yesterday, it had been closed for a couple of months to allow the rainbow trout to spawn. It resides in a fairly residential area and it seemed that it had already been fished hard.
