Discovering this idyllic place, we find ourselves filled with a

yearning to linger here, where time stands still and beauty

overwhelms.

This would have been a beautiful place to camp.

Have a great weekend everyone. Get out and shoot something. I think I'll try to find some wildflowers about the time the sun rises this morning. : ) We'll see how that goes, it's raining here at the moment. : )

Fabulous vibrant winter moss

A small stream running out to sea over the beach under a curtain of ice. Camera hanging upside down under the tripod, framing, focusing and metering pure guesswork as I wasn´t planning on lying down in the stream.

I just got my new RX100 M2 and this is my first shot. I’m standing in the middle of a driving lane so I didn’t take a long time to frame the shot and I’m just now seeing the lamp-post-turned-hood-ornament but, my poor technique notwithstanding, I’m impressed. Not only in the extremely accurate color but in the details beyond the focal-point of the shot.

This stream forks and both sides produce good dragonflies but it was quiet this morning. Much too early for the sun lovers.
