Thanks to Cayenne Camille for making the dress from scratch!
I absolutely love working with models that work hard to achieve the vision that you have in mind. Not a lot of models are willing to try something new and crazy but Joan was all for it and trusted me with it! This is different from my usual on location shots, I have worked in a studio before but this is probably the first time I played with studio lights as the main light on the subject so it was a very nice experience.
For the mood of the photo I wanted it to have like an underwater feel to it and at the same time achieve the surrealism of the scene.

Regards from Kebnekaise. We just spent little under a week in the region of Kebnekaise performing day hikes and hiking to the summit of Kebnekaise. The weather was not very good during the week, but I managed to capture a few rough and interesting scenes! You can see the peak Tuolpagorni in the background through the misty clouds.
Final image is a vertorama (vertical panorama) of two shots taken with Lee 0.9 GND hard edge (controlling sky exposure) and 0.9 ND (slowing the water motion).

I noticed these four different streams all meeting just before this small waterfall. I followed each stream and noticed that the two nearest started from distant springs and flowed through quite peaty ground . The farthest two came from springs only a few yards away and arrived at this point after only travelling across rocks. Thus the different colours pf the water.
This is a photo of sunlight refracting through ripple patterns in a shallow stream flowing across Clam Harbour Beach.
I captured this scene last week during a brief respite from the rain. The Ohio River was overflowing its banks, and the water was rushing swiftly. Unfortunately, taking photos at the riverbanks wasn’t possible that day. The Indiana FEMA team or IN-TF1 was in the water and on the banks, not for a search and rescue mission, but for practice. Can you even imagine the effort it takes to navigate a rubber raft in such swift water? I didn’t take their pictures that day because I didn’t want to distract them. I also would have needed more film to capture that shot. Instead, I focused on my task of capturing the light shining above that tree. Capturing light flare is a tricky task that requires multiple frames to find the perfect image.
A small waterfall on Mount Lafayette. This was at the beginning of my climb, on the Falling Water trail. It was a nice start to a stunning hike, although it took almost until the first peak until the view opened up.
This stream runs along Cross Country Blvd, one block down from my street. After torrential rains and thunderstorms all afternoon, there was enough of a break to go down and check out the stream.
