Mary and I had hiked to the top of Multnomah Falls, the tallest waterfall in the state of Oregon. It's a popular spot - paved trail - lots of people. Photo shot with the Canon EOS R and RF 24-105mm f/4.0L mounted to a tripod. I also used a circular polarizing filter and a neutral density filter to increase exposure time.

This stream has been revealed because the silt in the lake is being dug out. Before it could be dug out it had to be drained - rain and snow causes little streams to appear.
Driving around the landlocked promontory Hjörleifshöfði the track was crossed by this stream of icy water that was impassable, at least in the regular 4x4 I was driving. The larger Icelandic 'super jeeps' would have been able to drive straight through. I turned around and followed the sandy trail back around Hjörleifshöfði to the main road.
