Near Grandfather Mountain

small stream overflowing its banks with spring run off

Burlington, Ontario.

This was right after our big blizzard of February 12th. This is a little stream in central New Jersey

Leica DC Vario-Elmarit 9.1-91mm f2.8-5.9 Asph

 

A narrow, calm stream winds through a dense, green woodland. Sunlight filters through the thick canopy of overhead branches, illuminating the tall grasses and ferns lining the water's edge. The trees cast deep reflections onto the surface of the water, creating a peaceful and secluded natural scene.

The name of the stream is Lillån (English: The Small Stream).

Ran upon this small stream trickling through the lush rain forest while, walking on the Juan De Fuca Marine Trail near Port Renfrew, B.C.

Been dying to try one of these shots since forever. Unfortunately, not many falls (even small ones like this) in Florida.

A small sidestream feeding into the Yatesville Creek, just downstream from Yatesville Falls.

 

Yatesville Falls is located in the Yatesville Falls State Forest in the town of Root, Montgomery County, New York. The Yatesville Falls State Forest consists of 714 acres of land that was purchased by the state in the 1930s for timber production, recreational use, watershed production and wildlife habitat.

Thje stream that runs through the gardens of the Wilderness Lodge has its beginings in the Hotel.
