Heirloom strain of corn with rounded ears and long slender yellowish kernels from Andean Peru has high sugar content, but it is eaten exclusively toasted. Said to be low yielding yet highly valued, sprouted kernels are made into chicha, the favoured alcohol of the Andes

Nothing says “India” to me like chai: that hot sweetened tea, made rich from the boiled buffalo milk (or full-cream cow milk) and spicy with the maker’s secret blend of ginger and cardamom, with cinnamon, star anise, fennel seeds, peppercorn, nutmeg and/or cloves.

The Virulent Strain variant replaces the original Epidemic! cards with new ones that add special abilities to one disease, making it more dangerous. Advancing the Outbreak counter by two for every outbreak is particularly nasty.
Do you want to learn exactly how to put SpiderTech’s Ankle Pre-cut Kinesiology Tape? At the outset, bend the black lines at the end of the kinesiology tape. And then, gash the center part of component one and crimp back the edges of the tear. Thirdly, separate component one's back cover and apply it on the irritated part of the body. Snap, Peel, and Go! Look at this particular video www.youtube.com/watch?v=UoaBRlvuVHA as well as share it to your friends and family that are originally struggling with ankle strain. A desert is formed in areas with little precipitation. Without vegetation, the land is exposed and has to deal with denudation – wearing away of the earth's surface. Approximately one third of the earth’s land consists of desert conditions. Deserts are created when there are large variations in weathering processes, which place a strain on the rocky land. Due to this, the rocks begin weathering away and forming sand. With high temperatures, deserts have very little vegetation.
In regards to the poles, both the Antarctic and Artic poles are cold because they lack sunlight. For vegetation, there is a need of sunlight, rainfall and varied temperature. Therefore, vegetation is abundant and year long in landmasses that are close to the equator. In areas between the poles and equator, vegetation rises and falls with all four seasons.
Interestingly, even though both the north and South Pole receive the same amount of sunlight, the South Pole is much colder than the north! The Antarctic is land surrounded by ocean and the artic is an ocean surrounded by land. Therefore, while the artic is cold the air warms up as the ocean temperature rises. On the other hand, the Antarctic sits upon an icy land. The Antarctic is dry land in high mountains. Underneath the Antarctic lies snowy land that sits on elevated mountains. It is cold up there!
Areas around the equator are abundant in vegetation because the temperatures are high. Additionally, rainfall and sunlight are in abundant supply. The landmasses between the equator and poles have varying vegetation depending on seasons and temperatures.
While certain landmasses are situated on the same latitude, the vegetation may vary due to regional patterns of temperatures. For example, while a part of Canada sits on the same latitude as Europe, Canada remains much colder through the spring compared to Europe. Due to this, Europe has a much greener spring than Canada.
