I love going to the St. Patrick's Day parade that goes down Columbus Dr. on the Saturday closest to St. Patrick's day.
It's always freezing cold, but I'm there for a particular reason: BAGPIPES. I adore bagpipes, and this is the bagpipe-i-est parade. (The Shannon Rovers typically march in the Chinese New Year parade...but there are several other bagpipe groups that I've only seen in this parade.)
I took a lot of pictures during the parade, but in the end I decided only to keep the ones that were most interesting.
The workers unions always have some interesting floats and trucks, but none of my pictures of those sections turned out well. For the majority of the parade I was standing behind a few people who kept getting in front of my camera. u_u
If there is one person who attends more events than I do it has to be Miren.
She is one popular lady as you can see from my photographs.
Today she was part of the Dublin Cycling Campaign.
