Mainly east of Wichita, KS this time. A very brief rope tornado dropped here ( of course when I was holding the camera with the wide angle on it -- this is heavily cropped)

South of Tucumcari, New Mexico

My friends and I chased this storm from north of Ellinwood to Salina KS following it on highway 156 and 140. there was storm chasers following this storm. we saw up to 20 cars ahead of us on highway 140. You know you're on the right storm when there's tons of chasers everywhere and the DOW (doppler on wheels), from OK. 5-8-21.

We found this snake on the backroad. It was pretty laid back and didn't mind being handled. We made sure to release it into the grass.

Interesting area of rotation on the leading edge of a thunderstorm near Olathe, KS yesterday. They collar cloud was wrapping up into the center of circulation which was nearly overhead with lots of scud being pulled up in it and some very strong rotation.

Really intense colours make me happy
