Took while riding as a passenger in a car up in Canada. I didn't really like how the photo turned out, but that just means I can have fun with Paintshop. Here's the original.
The variety in these signs from around the world is amazing. This relatively tame example is from the UK.
This is just one of my series of European road sign patterns...
It's Friday, about midnight, and it starts pouring & storming outside. What do I think to myself?
"Hey, I should go outside and play in the rain! Wait, better yet, I should take my camera out too!" soooo... that's exactly what I did.

This charming little place is run by an 80+ years-old dynamo of a woman who is more interested in good food and good community than she is in good profits. Her shop's open every day except Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. until 9:30 p.m. so you can stop anytime for not only gelato but also breakfast biscuits, sandwiches, pizza, salads, soups, and coffee that's much too inexpensive.
Note: this placed closed its doors on 23 December 2018. It will re-open under new ownership in a few months.
This is an animation I made for an assignment for my FLASH! class. I'm really proud of it as it may be the first time I have every turned an assignment in on time.
Sedona's kind of interesting to me in that superb natural beauty runs around and through an otherwise perfectly normal looking city, filled with the mundane details that make up any city. What's it like to live somewhere like that? Does the majestic scenery eventually just become the plain old backdrop, do you get acclimated to it and after a while barely even notice that it's there?
I guess it really depends on the person. I've passed the Sierra Estrellas here in southwest Phoenix on my way to work nearly every day for going on three years now and they're still a beautiful sight to me. And I fail to see how sights like these could ever grow mundane to someone who grew up without growing accustomed to them.
There are too many first names to go with this. I see a theme with my pictures... names, street signs.
At the corner of Elizabeth and Little Lonsdale Streets, Melbourne. Many of these 'little' streets don't have dedicated traffic signals for pedestrians, so the standard signals for cars apply instead.
The Wadsworth House was built as a winter place for Herbert and Martha Wadsworth in 1900. It is now the Sulgrave Club.
