Hard to believe it would take so many stoplights to make this intersection in Zephyrhills work.

Ok computer virus, you stop right there! You are not welcome in my computer anymore!

Well I'm back and so is my computer! Now I'm able to upload more pics.....but now I'm faced with another problem. Well it's not that big of a deal, but my flickr pro account expired and don't have the $$$ right now to renew it because spent $$$ on getting the computer fixed and arming it with the best protection ever. Grrrr! Oh well, I'll just use the free account for now and I'm just happy to be back here and not using my son's ipod anymore. It was great to use in the meantime, but in the end it was driving me up the wall with being so small and then to type on the thing.....did anyone hear of hunting and pecking?!?!

Oh,this pic is from the camping trip that I took in July. Will have more pics from the trip posted soon.

against frightening prognoses, latvian people drive not worse than italian do ;-)

Stopped at Nirvana Street.

taken in seattle while my dad was driving

It has long since fixed, but US 6, an East/West US Highway, was signed as "North" and "South" at this intersection.

I've been trying to get some shots of tail lights that have the cool radial patterns. I didn't get the effect I was looking for on this one, but I still sort of liked it. Some day I'll get the nerve to get out at the stoplight so I can go get a proper close up of the car in front :-)

Where stoplights go to die

I've never really understood how streetlights walked until I was in middle school. It never really registered that the red stoplight was for cars. It totally confused me. After taking the picture, I realized I loved the way the moon looked like a little ball rolling down the electrical chords.

If there were cars, I'm sure this would cause a traffic jam.

stoplight in Bethalto

This was taken on my first night experimenting with light trails. It took a few tries and the right timing to get the red, yellow, green of the stoplight in the picture.

Taken near the courthouse in Pigeon Forge, TN.

For the 3rd of July party I combined the Stop Light with one of my first bike lamp creations. It was slapped together the night before the party. Let's just say it looks cool but it I have a little work to do on it before it looks really cool.

Older traffic signal in downtown Poteau (corner of Dewey & Harper) caught mid transition from Green to Yellow

This is the stoplight coming out of the Lowe's/Super Wal-Mart parking lot in Hazard, Kentcuky. Notice the coal spilling out of the mountain. You should see some of the coal mines around here, they are amazing.

I wanted to catch this stoplight green because it was prettier against the mountain. It was so early Sunday morning there was no traffic to change it so I just took it like this.

Local op ed piece.
