I was sort of apprehensive about how strong it was - didn't want someone to sit on it and crash to the floor - so I put a heavy weight on it to see if it held and, by golly, it did!
A drafting stool is specially designed to improve on the working conditions of anyone who uses it. It provides the proper support for the body, specifically the back that must be at the right angle at all times.

This is a stool I've been working on the last few weeks. My goal is to assemble a stool together using thermoforming, and through this, eliminate the need for fasteners. By using what would normally be considered "consequences" of vacuum-forming, the undercuts and trapping of wood add to it's structure.
