Brian digs in. The job of the swabbie (as opposed to the stomper) is to scoop the grape mush towards a screen inside the barrel. They then mush the mush into the screen, while holding a glass jug in front of the spigot, catching the grape juice. It is really easy to get a face full of grape that close to the feets.
Had fun tonight seeing Stomp at Fair Park Music Hall. This is the stage before the show. The performers actually played on everything you see here, and then some. We thoroughly enjoyed it!
Something I did for school a while back. We had a recreation of "Stomp". Stomp is a group of people who make music with random things like brooms, basketballs, driving in a car, etc. You can go to their site here.
