Photographed at South Hall Ranch on 31 May. This species is the most widespread stinkbug in CO.

Rough stink bugs feed primarily on leaves and developing seeds of trees and have been recorded from ash, walnut, willow, boxelder and many other species. However, they do not appear to be associated with any significant plant injuries. In addition,

I initially thought this was a shield bug, and so did Sarah. Apparently it isn't, though, and I risked getting a good stinking. It was quite cute, anyway.
