Cosmo's are still there for me.

I just watched a you-tube video on composition, the crop tool is the landscape photographers friend. So this is a crop :-)

The first time we came here around five years ago we struggled to find the place, there was only one other couple here and we worked out the route together. The small bridge here is part of the old route across the south of Iceland, on foot or horseback.

This trip it was a well worn path, people everywhere taking selfies of themselves in the place to be, instead of taking pictures 'of' the place to be. There were people walking right out through the water to the edge of the falls just for 'that' shot of 'themselves'.

Meet Capucine, my new miniature tiger! This 4-month old little lady is discovering her new home and is still quite timid with humans. She hides a lot of the time and often doesn't let me get close. But we are getting to know each other very slowly, we play a lot, and I managed to pet her yesterday. She even purred!

The stepping stones were first laid across the River Dove circa 1890, as the area became more and more popular with Victorian tourists.

In 1934, the stones were acquired by The National Trust and in 2006, Dovedale was declared a National Nature Reserve in order to protect its future.

Stepped away from photoshop and social media for a few months...... just needed a break.

This is my new client, Abita. She's a Sphinx cat which is just another name for hairless. She is absolutely full of personality!! I LOVE HER! She is one of the most unique cats I sit for. She lives with another Sphinx called Nola. You'll be seeing her too! Although Nola is much harder to get a good shot of because she rarely stops moving! Abita on the other hand plants herself in a spot and never moves!!! LOL!

I can't wait to go back to this house in November.

There wasn't a heck of a lot of light in this room. You can tell by her pupils. So I placed the camera on the floor and used it as a tripod.

You have to be very careful walking through the fallen Autumn leaves right now as the California Raisins migration is underway and it can be easy to step on one. Fortunately I saw this one just in time! :-)

Glad I got this when I did as the park crew came by with mowers and chopped up al these beautiful leaves the next day. Still more to fall under this maple, though. It is incredibly popular with pro photographers for portraits.

Just a bit of my weird humor. Not much going on right now so had a bit of fun with a couple of our old California Raisin figures. Lost our Minion figure last year so only have these to play with now. I made sure no one saw me doing this. :)

Ci sono tanti cagnolini bellissimi che vi aspettano nei canili comunali e nei rifugi delle associazioni. Cercateli e dategli la vita migliore che si meritano. E poi fate il passo successivo, come ho fatto io: go vegan!

There are many beautiful dogs waiting for you in the municipal kennels and in the shelters of the associations. Seek them out and give them the best life they deserve. And then take the next step, like I did: go vegan!

I feel so lucky to live so close to beautiful, quiet countryside.

Stay safe and well everyone.

Thank you to everyone who pauses long enough to look at my photo. Any comments or Faves are very much appreciated

An impromptu photowalk with buddies. We got lost getting here, I hold the gps responsible! Haha... I'll be back in autumn and winter for different moods.

Have a wonderful Sunday to all!

This little duck was a right poser. Taken at Lowtherton Hall, near Leads.

There's almost more dogs here than people. Which is fine. I've nothing against them. But when you're walking home at night and keep stepping in shite...There's some excuse for this woman. She's got two lots of shite to clean up and maybe she did when she got the dogs. But nobody sees after dark and the other dog lovers aren't bothering anyway.

Even the longest way begins with the first step....

It seemed that each step along the primitive trail in the Windows District of Arches National Park brought a new delightful scene.

Like a moth to a flame.....

I set the camera up on my tripod under the (approx. 4') overhang on the back porch; based on the direction of the wind there was almost no rain coming in under it. I set up the camera with an MK Controls Lightning Bug and stepped back inside the back door and watched the light show in (relative) safety.
