Young Aglaonema, ex Burma.

Most likely one of the wonderful Thai hybrids.

One of the larger upright-growing types with pink stems/petioles which can be seen on this young plant. On older plants the large number of persistent leaves hide the stems. Note the original small leaves still in perfect condition at base of the plant. The mother plant is now an 80cm dome of leaves in my kitchen.

Aglaonemas seem most happy growing with humans, in their house.....

Rainier's vet used fat stem cells taken directly from Rainier, and sent them to Vet-stem’s lab in California. Vet-Stem then isolated the regenerative cells and sent them back overnight and the vet injected them into the injured tissue. Within a few weeks the adult stem cells stimulated the healthy cell’s growth and caused the muscles and tissue to repair themselves.

Not all that bad considering the bike sat in a garage for almost twenty years. This picture taken after a few minutes of steel wool action.
